Students will love getting their hands dirty and creating their own terrarium. During this workshop students are taught about micro ecosystems, the water cycle and how they all work together. Each students will build their own self-sustaining closed terrarium, while learning how the different materials placed in the jar help keep it healthy and how each component benefits the others.

Included in this workshop are all materials for each student to build a terrariums, as well as resource materials which will allow students to monitor and record how their terrariums thrive over a few months. The students get to keep their terrariums and can take them home once you have finished using them as a learning resource.
